The 35th Fire Museum Seminar will be hosted by the Mansfield Fire Museum in Mansfield, Ohio, August 16 – 19, 2026!

The MFM has been busy making plans, which will include trips to the Central Ohio Fire Museum in Columbus and the Ohio State Reformatory Museum (where Shawshank Redemption was filmed) and others.  Presentations on the Garret Morgan Smoke Hood (the first SCBA!), Risk Management for Museums, Working with Hearing Impaired Visitors (Sertoma), Museum Marketing and Advertising, and Gamewell Registers are all on tap, along with many others.

A modest registration fee of $150 will include lunch and dinner daily, and for you BINGO enthusiasts, The Mansfield Fire Museum will host BINGO night on Monday for Seminar attendees only!

Since many attendees will be flying in to Columbus or Cleveland, the MFM is talking to various car rental companies to obtain a discount for Fire Museum Network members.
